IT ApplicationDatabase Administrator – Only candidates on Husband/Father sponsorship

Experience
 Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years in a technical Web Analyst and Database Administration support environment for a networked, multi-location business, with experience in supporting and maintaining at least five of the following specialism’s
– Microsoft IIS and Apache Tomcat webservers
– Windows PowerShell and Linux shell scripting systems
– Microsoft and Oracle DBMS – Technical expertise on multiple platforms
 Proven track record in the development of web-based systems
 Experience of software programming security and quality standards
 Experience of web site accessibility standards
 Experience of change management for major application systems
 Experience commissioning and installing new applications and customising existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose.
 Experience in scripting of ERP, Financial and BI systems.
 Experience of generating and customising report from business applications
 Experience in performance tweak of database systems.
Knowledge
 Knowledge of multiple systems, as well as an in-depth understanding of the functionality for these systems
 Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
 Testing and Deploying new code updates and patches using firm and departing Change Control practices
 Knowledge to create reports using PLSQL scripts and Crystal Reports
 Programming languages and APIs such as HTML
 Business Application and Content Management systems
 Local Government Information Classification schemes, and other relevant methodology
Qualifications & Training
 Educated to degree level or hold professional qualification.
 ITIL – IT Service Management awareness
 Understand the need to have and adhere to ICT Corporate Policies
