Roles, Responsibilities & Requirements:
• Facilitate and manage preparation, review of company VAT & Excise returns of a Tax Group and Individual entities. Ensure accurate and timely filing of returns
• Perform tax services and streamline company transactions to comply with VAT laws and regulations
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
• Proven knowledge of VAT rules & regulations across GCC i.e. UAE, KSA, Bahrain & Oman
• Should have sound experience dealing with FTA for audit as well as refund request.
• Preparation of SOPs for guidance and training to different departments of relevant VAT Rules & regulations.
• Reading & Interpretation of FTA public clarifications and notifying all concerned across the Group to Implement
• Preparation of FAF File & proper reconciliation with books of accounts
• Preparation of FTA Import Reconciliation on monthly basis
• Knowledge of Economic Substance Reporting (ESR) in UAE, Bahrain & BVI
• Assess nature of activity for each entity for the purpose of ESR notifications and filing
• Knowledge of CBCR, Transfer pricing regulations across GCC
• Knowledge of Corporate Tax Laws, WH Tax in Oman, Qatar and KSA
• Oversee financial closing of two divisions within the Group and manage a team of accountants
• Review financial data and prepare monthly & annual reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Present financial & tax reports to board members, stakeholders, executives in formal meetings
