MEP Team Leader

Description

Requirements:
Previous experience as MEP Team Leader in FM.
Must have UAE driving License.

Responsibilities
1. Preventive maintenance
2. Maintenance planning and schedules
3. Effective routine maintenance
4. Fire and Safety programs
5. Repair and maintenance programs and procedures
6. Inspection and supervision
7. To exercise the day to day control and particular planned control of Engineering staff under his control.
8. To carryout Engineering policy as laid down.
9. To advise the FM Engineer/ Operations Manager
10. To familiarize himself with the layout of the total estate with due regard to all safety aspects i.e. gas, electrical, water, steam oil etc., isolation points and ensure the staff are aware of all such points.
11. To familiarize himself with the layout of the building with regard to Engineering services and acquire the necessary advanced knowledge and information in order to investigate a full planned preventive maintenance scheme.
12. To prepare such scheme and submit for approval as may be required in order to investigate a full planned preventive maintenance scheme.
13. To follow CAFM work orders and the policy s followed through.
14. To introduce commissioning of safety check procedures of all equipment and maintain subsequent reference.
15. To advice on training needs of staff.
16. To ensure all emergency backup systems i.e. standby systems like, MEP spares, pumps, refrigerants., are maintained as per laid down instructions.
17. Attend to all hazard notices.
18. Ensure the statutory protection and safety checks are carried out.
19. Draw up a basic planning programs for shut down, such major overhauls boiler shut downs, and any main services shut downs which are likely to occur, reviews these programs regularly and updates as required.
20. To maintain fire appliances and equipment to standard required.
21. To maintain the efficiency of all services and to take necessary corrective action where results are below standard.
22. At all times to consider economy services.
23. To ensure Duty Shift Supervisor coordinates with all Tradesmen on duty during his working hours.
