SENIOR DESIGNER/TEAM LEADER

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
 To set Project Design Plan and Sequence with coordination of Technical Manager and Senior Project Manager .
 Preparation of Drawing Submittal Plan in accordance with the system design and or location of project.
 Review technical submittals and maintain updated logs of all approved submittal in Project File.
 To ensure preparation of Shop Drawings, production drawings in time in accordance with project specification & approved materials.
 Co-ordinate with Structural Engineer on systems calculations.
 Co-ordinate the interface details with the Project Manager.
 Checking all production drawings and ensure that it is in accordance with approved drawings, material site measurement, factory capacity, and easy site fixing.
 To prepare elevation drawing for every system showing the modules or quantity.
 Ensure design shown in Shop Drawings is achievable in regard of using standard / available sections, easy to fabricate / install by way of coordination with concerned production & installation teams.
 Preparation of three-dimensional models for the purpose of evaluation of design alternatives and material optimization.
 Interpretation and use of survey data in the design process.
 Preparation of take-off schedules for the purpose of verification of measure and for use in procurement.
 Interpretation of architectural & primary steelwork drawings for the purpose of preparation of construction design drawing.
 Review the drawings and ensure are correctly annotated. And all revisions are clearly marked on all parts of the drawings.
 A complete history of all drawings is preserved in both hard and soft copy for review.
 All anomalies encountered during design development and that all changes/ deviations are reported to the Team Leader/Assistance Technical Manager.
